A Call to Hold Space for Life, Death & the Sacred Thresholds In Between

Becoming a Rites & Rituals Funeral Celebrant is not just about delivering a well-written eulogy. It is about holding space for grief, transformation, and remembrance. It is about standing with families in their most vulnerable moments and guiding them through one of life’s most profound rites of passage.
This training is not for everyone.
It is for those who feel called — not just interested.
It is for those who understand that a funeral is not a performance, but a sacred act of service.
It is for those who are willing to do the inner work so they can truly stand present for others.

Before You Apply, Take a Moment to Reflect:
🔹 Do you feel a deep calling to work with grief, loss, and remembrance?
🔹 Are you comfortable speaking about death, dying, and the afterlife with openness and sensitivity?
🔹 Can you hold space for others without rushing to ‘fix’ or ‘soften’ their pain?
🔹 Do you have the presence to guide a room, not just with your words, but with your energy?
🔹 Are you willing to blend practical skills with deep spiritual work?
🔹 Can you honour both modern and traditional funeral rites with equal reverence?
The Training Journey
This is a 5-day immersive training that blends spiritual and practical aspects of funeral celebrancy. You will learn how to:
✨ Craft and lead deeply meaningful ceremonies that honour life and loss.
✨ Develop your presence and energy-holding skills as a ceremonial guide.
✨ Write and deliver eulogies and tributes with heart and authenticity.
✨ Navigate family dynamics and sensitive situations with grace.
✨ Incorporate ritual, symbolism, and sacred space into your ceremonies.
After successful completion of Stage 1, students will enter Stage 2: The Mentorship Phase, where they will shadow an experienced Rites & Rituals Celebrant before leading their first funeral under guidance.
